Crazy Hectic Update #2

Since our last Crazy Hectic Update, life has thrown me a few curve balls.

Concussions Hurt

At the end of April I got a concussion. I'm considering writing a full blog post about it. In short:

  • Finals were hard
  • I basically had a migraine everyday for 5 weeks
  • Avoiding thinking and using screens is incredibly difficult

Weddings are Fun

My aunt got married. This was my first wedding as an adult. I'm pretty sure I hadn't been to a wedding since middle school. I had the honor of being an usher in her wedding. My job was to basically handle all of the "things that come up" on the day of like finding the programs and making sure people know where to sit. She had a rustic theme that looked like the inspiration of your Pinterest boards. I had a headache for most of the day, but it was still a great time.

21st Birthdays Should be Memorable

I'm 21 now. I didn't get completely wasted on my birthday. I also don't drink as much as I thought I would. I went to dinner with friends and pretty much just chilled.

Tampa is Beautiful

I was supposed to go to DisneyWorld (but curveballs happen) and ended up spending the weekend in Tampa instead. Florida does this weird thing where it rained for 30 minutes in random spots every few hours, but it's kinda cool. My hair hated the humidity, but my skin flourished. In the Valley of Arizona, we can't really do anything outside during the day time from Mid-May to September. It was incredibly nice to be able to do stuff during the day.

Internships are a Great Opportunity

This summer, I am back at the internship from last summer, and I have learned 3 super important things:

  1. It never hurts to ask questions
  2. Your opinion matters (and if it doesn't, that isn't the place for you)
  3. Have Fun - You have the rest of your life to work

My Crazy Hectic Life - The Blog

I'm sure you've noticed, but my blog looks a bit different now. I've decided to take the blog in a bit of a different direction. I'm glad I chose the name I did way back when. It is something I can grow with. In general, I've gotten the most positive remarks (and most Twitter votes) on the fitness and health aspects of my blog.

Books College and Planning is where my blog started. Since I'll be graduating soon, naturally this section will begin to take a lesser role.

Bars I'm excited to share my favorite food and drinks with you all. Subscribe to my YouTube channel to prep with me!

Barbells I'm an ACE certified Personal Trainer. With my cert, I plan to upload parts of my workouts to my YouTube Channel to encourage others.

Final Note

For now, I am not part of any affiliate programs, but I am hoping with a little more consistency, I will be able to join a few.
